Rachel was a gymnast as a child and qualified in 2011 as a pilates teacher through the Pilates foundation. The Pilates foundation produces a high calibre of teacher who maintain quality and excellence in Pilates practice and teaching.
Rachel is a highly knowledgeable teacher and has extensive experience in working with people with chronic pain and injury as well as pre/post natal and athletes. She has a great understanding of anatomy and movement and is highly skilled at helping her clients to understand how to execute the Pilates repertoire safely and effectively.
In Rachels classes she will help you to understand your body and body mechanics through detailed instruction. She will encourage you to move with precision in each exercise through the use of anatomical reference and education.
Be it a gentle back pain class or a conditioning more athletic class, in Rachel’s classes you can expect to activate muscles that you quite often didnt even know existed!
Outside of Pilates Rachel is a keen runner, furniture upholsterer and dog mother!
