Anna Byworth has been practising yoga for over 17 years and has been teaching yoga for over six years.
Before training to be a yoga teacher, Anna suffered with chronic back pain and sciatica, she found yoga to be about the only thing that eased her symptoms. Anna decided that she would rather live with yoga than back pain; and so during her training she discovered how to ease and strengthen her back through yoga.
She trained with the British Wheel of Yoga, and has worked with people with learning disabilities for over 25 years. In addition to this she has taught trampolining for people with special needs (on and off, back permitting) for 13 years.
Anna has furthered her training with Teen Yoga, ADD, ADHD and Autism, as well as Parent and Baby, Toddler and Vinyasa Power Yoga.
As a busy working mum of three and a pet owner she finds yoga (and dog walking!) essential for maintaining her sanity!
Anna teaches many different yoga classes to many different people, and it is her love of people's differences that inspires her. Anna is passionate about celebrating these differences and improving the quality of life for one and all and Anna finds yoga and wellness are an effective way to do this.
Anna's classes are tailored to meet the needs of everyone in the class; whether that be a powerful workout, a relaxing recharge or just some great fun.

Alex first discovered yoga at drama school as a stiff and hectic 18 year old. Encouraged to take classes to reconnect to her body and breath, she loved the movement and the way it made her feel. Several years later Alex found herself working as a broker in the City of London and a self-confessed sweat addict. Chasing weights, doing tough mudders, dancing all night and working all day. Her casual hobby soon turned into a much needed time out in her week.
After 13 years of personal practice Alex took her teacher training in 2015 at the Sivananda Ashram in Austria. Using their teachings as the backbone for her classes, Alex combines her love of movement and relaxation to bring you simple sequences of body opening postures, mind focussing breath work and deep meditation. Prepare to be physically challenged and mentally relaxed! Still balancing a full-time city job with keeping fit and teaching, Alex is no stranger to the burnout faced by Londoners today. Finding ways to destress has led her to become a Thai Yoga Masseur and Yoga Nidra practitioner. Studying with the renowned Ralf Marzen and David Lutt in London and Thailand, Alex offers deeply relaxing Thai Massage using classic, dynamic and osteothai techniques. She trained in Yoga Nidra at the Satyananda Centre in London.
Alex is loving her new life in Forest gate and can often be found prancing on The Wanstead Flats. A continual student of moving bodies and stilling minds, she is looking forward to meeting fellow yogis in the community.
Alice started yoga as a teenager and quickly became passionate about the power of deep breathing, its meditative quality, and the enhancement of body-mind communication.
Over the last 17 years she has practised mainly Hatha and Ashtanga yoga and her curiosity and interests have brought her close to many different styles and teachers. This variety reflects well in her own style of teaching, which is based on classical Hatha but with a more organic and fluid approach.
She qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga and gained a 500 hour diploma, soon after becoming a mum and training with Birthlight to become a antenatal, postnatal, baby and toddler yoga teacher. In her yoga classes she creates a space for self-nurturing, finding ease, comfort and enjoyment in the precious individuality.
She has been living in Forest Gate, London since 2016 and she loves the sense of community in the area and the surrounding nature.

Imogen was first introduced to the benefits of Pilates during her professional dance training at London Studio Centre. After graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance she decided to pursue her passion for Pilates and become an instructor.
Her background in dance means Imogen is a stickler for technique! Her classes are hands on and designed to help participants perform exercises with precision and control.
Imogen keeps active by regularly taking dance, barre and spin classes around London but believes that Pilates is the key to a strong and balanced body. She is a positive and enthusiastic teacher and wishes for everyone to experience the benefits of Pilates!
Before training to be a pilates teacher, Debbie had been practising pilates for over 10 years after discovering it was the only way she could manage and ease her long-term back pain.
Inspired by her personal improvement, she began the mat-based instructor training at Moss Studio in London with Polestar and later she went on to spend a year continuing her training and teaching at Polestar studios in Malaysia and Hong Kong.
She is now working towards her next qualification in studio equipment-based Polestar pilates for rehabilitation and injuries after making a life-changing career decision to become a full time pilates instructor.
Debbie is passionate about all things pilates and is constantly furthering her knowledge and understanding through Polestar workshops and courses including pre and post natal pilates.
She also loves travelling the world whenever possible (mat tucked under her arm!) and she is constantly on the look out for the next adventure with husband Tim. In the meantime, she is looking forward to moving to Forest Gate, if and when, their house renovation is ever finished!
